A Libyan airforce pilot walks next to his Mirage F1 fighter jet after landing at Malta for political asylum amid a bloody crackdown on anti-government protesters in Libya. The two defectors confirmed Qaddafi’s orders to strafe the crowds from the air. There are reports of a massacre of protesters in the central Green Square of Tripoli, with “too many bodies to count.”
